The motion recognised CCG's ongoing contribution to alleviating poverty, reducing social isolation, improving mental health and wellbeing, restoring dignity, and increasing access to services.

It also highlighted key 2024 achievements including growth in food services, stronger volunteer engagement, progress of social enterprises (Tiffin Fresh Food Cafe and Bella-Rose Hall), and expansion through new facilities at Ladymuir Crescent.
