Here at CCG, we have Prevented a whopping 18,083kg of food from going to the landfill just from collecting from Tesco and Waitrose. The CCG collects excess food from many places like Tesco and Waitrose with the goal to make a change and improve the living conditions for others and tackle the massive problem that is food wastage. In doing so we are also helping the environment by preventing this food from going to landfill we are helping the environment and saving 57,865kg of CO2 being released into the environment. We would like to thank all of the Shops and restaurants that allow us to pick up this excess food and our dedicated team of volunteers who make this possible.
