CASE STUDIES 2018
Today we had a call from a lady crying

Lady X called very upset as she had put in for a Welfare Fund which was refused. The lady was crying as she had been told no and she was at a loss what to do. Her universal credit was in the process of being sorted but due to no funds, that’s why she needed emergency assistance.
She explained that her oldest boy has a brain injury which doesn’t allow her to leave him alone so asked if we could deliver. I explained that we were struggling to drop as our driver was out of the office, luckily one of our volunteers said they would drop it off to her because of nature and her son’s disabilities. She had another child of 16 yrs who was at school.
The lady was very grateful as she literally had no food whatsoever.
The parcel was delivered by our volunteer and we were thanked.
